IU Bloomington to establish 'Divine Nine' plots
IU Bloomington is the first Big Ten university to establish National Pan-Hellenic Council plots, which will be constructed from limestone to honor the nine fraternities and sororities that have worked to create leaders, promote communication, and increase civic engagement on the Bloomington campus.

IU alumnus Jamie Hyneman, a special effects expert and inventor best known as co-host and executive producer of the popular TV show "MythBusters," will speak at IU Bloomington's undergraduate commencement May 7.

IU Bloomington adds new tools to improve application process
Students applying for admission to IU Bloomington for 2016-17 will be able to use the Common Application, an online system used by hundreds of colleges and universities to manage the college admissions process.

Serve IT, a community information technology clinic at IU Bloomington, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this spring. Founded in 2010, Serve IT connects IU students who have in-demand technology skills with nonprofits who need them.

Get tickets for the Little 500
This now-famous bicycle race began in 1951 as a way to raise scholarship money for students working their way through college. Since that first race, the IU Student Foundation has given away over $1 million to deserving undergrads.

Last semester, students in Sarah Neal-Estes’ Radio Innovation service-learning class at the Media School teamed up with the Banneker Community Center and local radio station WFHB to help children tell their own stories through podcasting.
