Serve IT, a community information technology clinic at IU Bloomington, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this spring. Founded in 2010 and based in the School of Informatics and Computing, Serve IT connects IU students who have in-demand technology skills with nonprofits who need them. The program takes a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates service learning into technology-related projects, such as web design, mobile app development, IT grant writing, and more.
While Serve IT is comprised largely of informatics and computer science students, students pursuing other majors who are looking to contribute in the community are also highly encouraged to join. More information can be found at serveit.soic.indiana.edu.
