The IU2U program, a collaborative effort at IU Bloomington that introduces incoming international students to life at IU, expanded this summer to include visits to India, South Korea and an additional location in China.
Each summer, students in IU Bloomington’s Media School travel abroad to London to participate in a two-month experiential learning program, combining classroom learning with an internship at a local media organization.
This fall, Şirin Pancaroğlu, an IU Bloomington alumna and co-founder of the Şimdi Ensemble, returned to campus for the first time in nearly 25 years to complete a three-week residency at the Jacobs School of Music.
Cuban harpist Anabel Gutierrez Orraca began her collegiate music training in the fall of 2015 at IU Bloomington’s Jacobs School of Music with a very specific goal in mind. “Cuba sent me here with a purpose to learn as much as I can,” Gutierrez Orraca said.
