Serve IT, a community information technology clinic at IU Bloomington, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this spring. Founded in 2010 and based in the School of Informatics and Computing, Serve IT connects IU students who have in-demand technology skills with nonprofits who need them.
This fall, more than 50 IU Bloomington students took part in two days of storytelling workshops led by visiting instructors from the renowned Moth Radio Hour. These workshops culminated in a story slam in front of a packed house at the Wells-Metz Theatre.
This fall, students in Sarah Neal-Estes’ Radio Innovation service-learning class at the Media School teamed up with the Banneker Community Center and local radio station WFHB to help children tell their own stories through podcasting.
The IU Figure Skating Club is open to ice skaters of all levels to practice and learn from each other. The club practices at Frank Southern Ice Arena, hosts annual spring and winter shows and participates in competitions throughout the Midwest.
