Jamie Gayer
As the senior human resources director for the Bloomington Campus, Jamie serves a dual role in partnering with both University Human Resources and the campus. She has close working relationships with Provost and his leadership team on human capital and operational HR needs to ensure that HR programs fully support organizational objectives and drive results in alignment with the 2030 Strategic Plan. Her partnership with University Human Resources also provides operational HR insight into long-term HR strategy and critical input for HR functional design recommendations.
Jamie’s 15-year IU career has been in a variety of human resources and business operational roles. She holds two different HR professional certifications, a DEI Leadership certification from IU and is actively pursuing her Masters of Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs.
