Indiana University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (312-263-0456).

Students may review copies of documents regarding entities that accredit, license, or approve Indiana University-Bloomington and its programs. HLC Accreditation Working Group

Indiana University Bloomington will undergo its next institutional accreditation review in 2027 through the Higher Learning Commission. In preparation, a campuswide working group has begun reviewing programs, policies, and practices to ensure IU Bloomington continues to meet the highest standards of academic quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
