Carrie Docherty, Vice Provost
The Provost Office works in close partnership with the Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs to guide key areas including academic policies, faculty development, tenure and promotion, and academic program review. To support institutional goals and meet accreditation standards, Provost Shrivastav collaborates with Vice Provost Docherty, who oversees faculty recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.

Together with campus leaders, OVPUE is creating opportunities for students to put their knowledge into practice with study abroad, student leadership, work integrated learning, and other opportunities beyond the classroom.

Advising and Academic Coaching
OVPUE provides academic coaching services for all undergraduate IUB students and fills in the gaps to offer advising and career coaching for students not yet affiliated with a particular school.

The Provost Office provides oversight and strategic guidance to the Office of Graduate Education to uphold graduate education standards and support the academic and professional success of graduate students. Collaborating closely with Provost Shrivastav, Vice Provost Daleke helps advance funding initiatives for research opportunities and professional development for graduate students, while jointly leading strategic planning for graduate education policies.
