David Daleke
Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Bloomington Graduate School
David Daleke is responsible for graduate education, international initiatives for the University Graduate School, and health sciences initiatives. He also chairs the Graduate Faculty Council for the Bloomington Campus.
Carrie Docherty
Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs
Carrie Docherty is responsible for maintaining academic policies defining the rights and responsibilities of all IU Bloomington academic appointees. She oversees tenure and promotion, faculty records and data, new faculty orientation, emeriti faculty, and the Patten Lecture series. She is responsible for supporting our diverse faculty at all stages of their careers.
Aimee Heeter
Vice Provost for Finance and Administration
Aimee Heeter is responsible for a wide range of financial and administrative functions for the flagship Bloomington campus, including responsibility for its $2 billion budget. She provides fiscal strategic direction and develops operations strategies for implementation of strategic campus priorities. She oversees fiscal and administrative operations including budget planning, human resources, financial administration, internal controls, foundation management, and auxiliary services.
Lamar Hylton
Vice Provost for Student Life
Lamar Hylton is responsible for providing the vision, executive leadership, oversight, and direction for the 25 departments that make up the Office of Student Life. His main focus is to align with the IU Bloomington 2030 strategic plan and improve the experience of all students on the Bloomington campus. He is personally invested in giving back to the students he serves by positively impacting academic achievement, college satisfaction, and student success.
David Johnson
Vice Provost for Enrollment Management
David Johnson is responsible for the management and leadership of recruitment, admission, enrollment, and retention of all undergraduate students. He supervises admissions, scholarships, First Year Experience Programs, the registrar, financial aid, and Student Central on Union.
Rashad Nelms
Interim Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion
Rashad Nelms became interim vice president for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) beginning July 1, 2024. Nelms was appointed associate vice president for strategy and innovation in the IU Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (OVPDEI) and associate vice provost for DEI at IU Bloomington in March 2023.
Brea Perry
Associate Vice President and Vice Provost for Research
Brea Perry is responsible for research development on the Bloomington campus. She oversees all IU Bloomington internal funding programs and works with research centers, institutes, and museums to plan and implement strategic research initiatives.
Vasti Torres
Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education
Vasti Torres is responsible for programs and initiatives in support of outstanding academic experiences for IU Bloomington undergraduates. She oversees accreditation, academic advising, testing, and enrichment resources for undergraduates, precollege programs, curricular policies, teaching and learning initiatives, the IU Bloomington General Education program, and cross-institutional curricular issues such as articulation and transfer agreements. She also supervises the Women in STEM Living-Learning Center, the Student Academic Center, and the Center for Learning Analytics and Student Success.
