A special working group has been convened by Provost Rahul Shrivastav to offer insight and guidance on the Kinsey Institute and compliance with an Indiana state law issued in 2023.
This group will host a series of public listening sessions aimed at better understanding specific and diverse concerns related to the State’s funding restrictions and the university’s protection of the Kinsey Institute.
All members of the IU community are invited to register and attend one of the following listening sessions.
Listening Session 1: 1/17 3:30-5 p.m.
Listening Session 2: 1/18 12:30-2:00 p.m.
Listening Session 3: 1/19 9:30-11 a.m.
The new working group will synthesize key questions, concerns and perspectives from the community and work with Kinsey Institute and university leaders to consider how best to continue the legacy of the Kinsey Institute while complying with state law.
